“Lavinia has been working as an overnight support worker with my son Alex for over nine years. He has a severe physical disability and complex medical needs and Lavinia has had no problems with hoisting him in and out of his wheelchair, turning him in bed, dressing, washing, helping with chest physiotherapy and connecting and monitoring his overnight BiPAP ventilation machine and peg feed. She has handled all of these tasks with ease. More importantly, Lavinia is friendly, generous and trustworthy and both Alex and I very much appreciate her assistance. She has an incredible rapport with my son, as well as with other family members. I look forward to her shifts as we always have a coffee and a chat (and sometimes a bit of cheeky chocolate cake too)!”
